This Privacy Policy explains how STP, Inc. ("STP," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit www.stpapp.com (the "Website"), join our waitlist, take part in our referral program or giveaways, contact us, or reach out about becoming a Safe Space partner.

This policy covers the Website only. The STP mobile app is still in development and will have its own privacy policy, which we will publish before the app becomes available.

If You Are in Danger

STP is not an emergency service, and the forms on this Website are not monitored around the clock. Please do not use our contact or waitlist forms to ask for urgent help.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Contact and "Be An Ally" forms: your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and the message you write.
• Waitlist sign-up: the information requested on the waitlist form, such as your name, email address, and phone number, along with the unique referral link assigned to you.
• Safe Space inquiries: your name, your contact details, and information about the organization, business, congregation, or location you tell us about.
• Giveaway entries: if you enter a social post or video contest, the content you post publicly using #STPgiveaway or tagging our account, your social media handle, and any contact details we need to confirm eligibility and deliver a prize.
• Donation, sponsorship, and funding inquiries: the contact details and messages you share when you reach out about supporting or investing in STP.

You never have to tell us anything about your personal situation to join the waitlist or contact us. Please share only what is needed.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website, our hosting and service providers automatically receive standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the page that referred you, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to deliver pages, keep the Website secure, and fix technical problems.

Referral activity

Our waitlist, referral program, and leaderboard are powered by KickoffLabs. When you sign up, or when you arrive through someone's referral link, KickoffLabs records which link brought you to the Website so referrals can be credited correctly. Referral counts are used to rank participants on the Website leaderboard.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel on the Website.

The cookies and similar browser storage technologies in use are those needed to run the Website and the waitlist, including technologies used by Webflow, our website host, and KickoffLabs, our waitlist and referral provider.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, the waitlist and referral tracking may not work correctly. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before doing so.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your messages and inquiries.
• Manage the waitlist and send you updates about launch news, early access, and how to put a location forward as a Safe Space.
• Run the referral program, leaderboard, and giveaways, including verifying entries, selecting winners, and delivering prizes.
• Hold conversations with organizations and businesses interested in becoming Safe Space partners.
• Respond to donation, sponsorship, and investment inquiries.
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website.
• Detect and prevent fraud, fake sign-ups, and abuse of the referral program.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use information submitted through the Website to build advertising profiles about you.

Emails and Text Messages

If you join the waitlist, we may send you emails about STP. Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe.

We collect phone numbers so we can follow up on your inquiry or contact you about a prize. We will not send you marketing text messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them. If you do agree, you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in the following situations:

• Service providers: companies that help us run the Website and our programs, including Webflow (website hosting and form submissions), KickoffLabs (waitlist, referral tracking, and leaderboard), and providers we use for email, communications, and payment processing. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Leaderboard: the Website leaderboard may display a name or partial name next to a referral count.
• Giveaway winners: where required by law or by the official rules of a giveaway, we may publish or provide a winner's name and general location.
• Legal requirements and safety: we may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm to a person.
• Business transfers: if STP is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
• With your permission: in any other situation where you have asked us to share your information or agreed that we may.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy:

• Messages and inquiries: for as long as needed to respond and follow up with you.
• Waitlist and referral information: until you ask to be removed, or until we no longer need it for waitlist and launch communications.
• Giveaway records: for as long as needed to run the giveaway and meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

How We Protect Information

The Website uses HTTPS encryption to protect information as it travels between your browser and our servers. We limit access to personal information to people who need it to do their work, and we use established service providers to host and process that information.

No website or online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us. Please avoid submitting highly sensitive details through our forms.

• Delete your information, including removing you from the waitlist.

Children

The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors Outside the United States

STP is based in the United States, and the Website is operated from the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website links to services we do not control, such as Instagram, the Apple App Store, and Google Play. When you visit those services, their own privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for how they collect or use your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we will let you know by posting a notice on the Website or by emailing people on our waitlist.
